How to Install Vinyl Plank and Tile Flooring

Installers should thoroughly read our detailed instructions before beginning installation.

We do our best to ensure that every piece that we ship is of the highest quality, with no deviations in dimension or appearance. Installers should not use any pieces found to be irregular. Please contact us and we will send a replacement in a timely fashion.

It’s important to also ensure you have the proper subfloor to match the luxury vinyl flooring product you’ve chosen. Carefully examine the site conditions before installation, as we are not responsible for the existing wear of site conditions or the impact this will have on the vinyl flooring product.

Tips for Installing Vinyl Plank and Tile

  • Inspect all product prior to beginning installation. Stone Barn® vinyl plank and tile can be installed over wood or concrete subfloors, or directly over existing floor coverings.
  • Underlayments are not required when installing Stone Barn® vinyl plank and tile flooring.
  • For best visual effect, shuffle planks or tiles from several different cartons and do not install similar planks or tiles next to one another.
